During the holiday season, delivery drivers are busier than ever, with the rise in deliveries from services including DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Amazon. To show appreciation for these hardworking individuals, a well-known pizza company is launching a promotion to provide them with free meals.

For customers choosing to dine in with pizza from this company, there’s an opportunity for them to help delivery workers get a free meal. Not only pizza delivery drivers, but also those from UPS, FedEx, and Amazon can benefit from this offer by getting a $25 gift card to the pizza chain.

The promotion involves customers ordering a special ‘reverse delivery mat’ starting from December 6. This mat resembles a pizza box and features the phrase ‘Leave a box, get a box’ along with a QR code. Delivery personnel can scan this code to get a gift card for a complimentary pizza.

The company’s chief marketing officer expressed the intention to bring happiness to delivery drivers during the festive season. Those interested in the doormat need to be quick since only 50 mats are distributed each day between December 6 and 10, summing up to 250 mats. Through these, the delivery workers can claim their gift cards until the promotion ends later in the month.

The brand is looking to give away $100,000 in free pizza to delivery drivers. The value of the gift card should be enough to cover a large pizza, although there are also other meal deals available on the company’s menu.

To ensure the gift cards reach the intended recipients, delivery drivers redeeming the offer will need to provide personal details like their full name, email address, and shipping address. There is a limit of one gift card per individual, with a total of 4,000 cards available.

The company trusts that the promotion will be used honestly, allowing delivery workers, who often work extended hours during the holidays, to enjoy a meal on the house.
